The International Tennis Federation (ITF) announced the world ranking of women tennis players, where Egyptian champion Mayar Sherif ranked 74th in the world in a historic achievement for Egyptian women's tennis, after winning the German WTA 125k tennis championship after defeating Italian Martina Trevisan 2-0 in the final match of the tournament. Mayar Sherif, the Egyptian tennis champion, managed to reach the final of the German International Tennis Championship (WTA 125) after defeating the Romanian player Jacqueline Christian in a match that was completed today, with a score of 2-1, to come close to entering the top 80 players in the world rankings, in a historic achievement for Egyptian tennis. .

 

Mayar Sherif, the Egyptian tennis champion, qualified for the semi-finals of the WTA125 German Championships, after her overwhelming victory over Slovakia's Samrkova Rybka in two straight sets.

 

For the first time in the history of Egyptian tennis, a player reached the final of a women's match in a WTA tournament, becoming Mayar Sherif among the top 100 players in the world, achieving a historic achievement for Egyptian sports in the world of tennis.

Mayar achieved an unprecedented historical achievement after becoming the first Egyptian to qualify for two Grand Slam tournaments, after she was the first Egyptian to participate in the main competitions of the last Roland Garros tournament, to now reserve a place among the adults.
