Cars Chiefs to his fans before facing Al-Ahly: We thank you for your constant support


South Africa's champion, Caiers Chiefs, thanked his fans in his country, hours before the match against Al-Ahly team scheduled for nine in the evening, Saturday, in the final of the African Champions League at the Mohammed V complex in Casablanca, Morocco.


And the Kaiser Chiefs account posted a video on Twitter commenting on it: “Love is all around us, you may not be here with us in Morocco, but we feel you, and we know that you are with us in spirit, we stand together as a nation, we love you and know that you got us, from Casablanca with love Thank you for your constant support!"


In the same context, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) shed the light on the city of Casablanca, which will host the Al-Ahly team’s match at nine o’clock this evening, Saturday, with its South African champion, Caiers Chiefs, in the final of the African Champions League on the Mohammed V complex in Casablanca, Morocco.


The Red Genie is looking for the tenth title in its history, while the South African champion seeks to put his name on the list of winners of the Champions League for the first time in its history.


And the CAF Champions League and Confederation account posted a video on Twitter, entitled: "Casablanca is a city that breathes football."

       

Al-Ahly’s appearance in the Champions League final for the fourth time in the last 5 years, after recording its presence in the 2017, 2018 and 2020 editions, and in the current edition, in search of enhancing its record number of title wins.

Al-Ahly won the African Championship in the years (1982, 1987, 2001, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2012, 2013, 2020) and was unlucky to win the title in the years (1983, 2007, 2017, 2017 and 2018).


The Al-Ahly and Kaizer Chiefs match tonight will be managed by Burundian referee Pacific Ndabehau, as referee, Elvis Nyuguwe and Lee Okello as assistants, while the fourth referee, Atogo Kastan, will be in charge of the video room, and referees Radwan Gaid and Zakaria Princi will be present in the video room.
