Turkish newspapers: Mustafa Muhammad calls on the Galatasaray administration to participate in the Tokyo Olympics

Turkish press reports revealed today, Tuesday, the strong desire of Mustafa Muhammad, which will be demanded by the management of his team, Galata Saray, regarding his participation in the Tokyo Olympics 2020.

It appears that there are differences between Galatasaray, Mustafa Mohamed and the Egyptian Football Association due to the Turkish club's participation in the preliminary rounds of the European Champions League, which coincides with the preparation for the Tokyo Olympics and group matches.

According to the Turkish newspaper, “Milliyet”, which addressed a big problem in Galatasaray, Mustafa Muhammad let me go, and said that Mustafa Muhammad would come to Turkey to speak with the Galatasaray administration and ask them to allow him to participate in the Tokyo Olympics and not participate in the European Champions League.

Galatasaray will play its first match in the qualifiers for the second round of the European Champions League on July 20 and 21, while Egypt's Olympic team will be preparing to face Spain in the Tokyo Olympic groups.

Mostafa Mohamed is currently with the Egyptian Olympic team and participated in the first friendly match in South Africa and scored two goals in a 2-0 victory.

And Turkish press reports revealed, previously, that the Galatasaray club refused the participation of the Egyptian international, Mostafa Mohamed, the Egyptian national team player and the Zamalek striker loaned to him, in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics with the Pharaohs.

The Turkish CNN TURK website confirmed the absence of Mustafa Mohamed, the Zamalek striker, loaned to Galatasaray, from participating in the Tokyo Olympics next July, due to the refusal of the technical staff of the Turkish team, due to the presence of a number of important matches for Galatasaray in the qualifying round for the European Champions League.

The report added that Galatasaray contacted the Egyptian Football Association, and Mustafa Mohamed from the Olympic team will not participate, and he will be able to play in the European Champions League qualifiers for Galatasaray.

Galata Saray includes Mustafa Mohamed on loan from Zamalek until June 2022, with a condition of purchase eligibility in his contract worth 4 million dollars.
