The Brazilian president threatens to veto a bill on Corona's passport

Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro has threatened to veto a bill currently being discussed in Parliament and related to "Covid-19 passports", according to Russia Today.

The bill proposes a "certificate of vaccination", which would allow vaccinated citizens to participate in various sporting and cultural events, cruises and national parks.

"I don't think (the law) will pass in Congress. If it is passed, I will oppose it," Bolsonaro was quoted as saying by O Globo newspaper.

Bolsonaro has repeatedly been accused of downplaying the risks of the epidemic and defying the restrictions of the Corona virus, even though he contracted the virus last summer.
