Kaizer Chiefs coach: We know that we are the weakest side in front of Al-Ahly and we dream of the Champions League title

Arthur Zwane, assistant coach of the South African Kaizer Chiefs team, talked about facing Al-Ahly in the final of the African Champions League for the current football season 2020/2021.

Al-Ahly set a date with Kaizer Chiefs in the African Champions League next July 17, at the Mohammed V Stadium in the Moroccan capital, Casablanca, after sweeping Esperance 4-0 with a total of the two legs, while the South African champion overcame Morocco’s Wydad with a goal for free in the golden square.

Zawani said in statements to his club's official website about the Al-Ahly match: "We are going to the final, and we know again that we are the weakest party, but that makes us feel comfortable and not pressured, and now we are one step away from the dream."

The assistant coach of the Kaizer Chiefs team continued, "But we have three and a half weeks to prepare well for that match. I thank God and everyone who was with us through thick and thin and helped us reach the final despite the difficulty of our journey and the strength of the African teams."

Zouani added: "Wydad was a very good team and one of the best teams on the continent. They are good at defending and attacking, but they have weaknesses. We knew if we played an open match, they would have punished us, but we managed to reach our goal by qualifying for the final."

Kaiser assistant coach continued: “Now, despite all the challenges we faced, we have seen God’s ability to do amazing things in mysterious ways that brought us to the CAF Champions League final despite the presence of many young players in the team, and I hope God will give us the strength to move forward and win those.” Championship".
