Half a billion dollars increase in Egypt's exports of petroleum products in one month


Government data showed that Egyptian exports of petroleum products rose to more than half a billion dollars in just one month, as the value of Egypt's exports of petroleum products amounted to about 609.8 million dollars in last March, while it was 58.8 million dollars in March 2020, an increase of 551 million dollars, an increase of about 936%.


The data issued by the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics said that petroleum products exports were among the most important Egyptian exports of fuel, with a total value of about 893 million and 287,000 dollars in last March, compared to 298 million and 554 thousand dollars in the same month in 2020, an increase of 594 million and 733 thousand dollars, and these exports included both crude oil and amounted to 142 million and 345 thousand dollars last March, compared to 67 million and 782 thousand dollars in the same month in 2020, an increase of about 74 million and 563 thousand dollars, in addition to coal exports of all kinds. Which amounted to 478 thousand dollars, compared to one million and 945 thousand dollars during the reporting period, a decline of one million and 467 thousand dollars.


The Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics announced foreign trade data for March 2021, where the trade balance deficit recorded 2.69 billion dollars during the month of March, compared to 3.59 billion dollars for the same month of the previous year, a decline of 25.2%.
