France expands vaccination against corona to include adolescents from 12 years old

France will open the way for teenagers to be vaccinated against the emerging corona virus, starting today, Tuesday, as part of expanding the scope of vaccination operations for the French, to limit the spread of the epidemic.

The French newspaper Le Figaro stated - on its website - that the vaccination will be available from today for all children aged 12 years and over (that is, about 3.5 million people), with the exception of adolescents who showed symptoms of inflammatory multisystem syndrome (PIMS) after infection with the virus. SARS-CoV-2, the category for which vaccination is not recommended.

The vaccination of minors requires the permission of two guardians, but only one person will be required to be present during the vaccination process at the center.
