Euro 2020 .. Dutchman Danny Makele will referee the opening match between Italy and Turkey

The European Football Association’s arbitration committee assigned the management of the opening match of the European Nations Cup, Euro 2020, between Italy and its Turkish counterpart, after tomorrow, Friday, to Dutch referee Danny Makele.

Press reports, the Turkish Federation and its Italian counterpart confirmed the appointment of Dutchman Danny Makelei as referee of the arena, accompanied by assistants Mario Dix and Hesel Stegstra and fourth official Jan de Vries, in addition to Kevin Blom and Jochem Kamphuis.

Millions of football fans around the world are waiting for the opening match of the European Nations Cup, Euro 2020, which will be held in 11 countries this summer in an exceptional version of the second world championship in football levels after the World Cup.

The European Nations Cup in its 16th edition begins on Friday, June 11, and will continue until July 11, with the participation of 24 teams, and the opening match of the tournament will bring together the teams of Italy and Turkey, at the Olympic Stadium in the Italian capital, Rome, and the match will start at 9 pm Cairo time, On Friday, June 11th.
