A record number awaits Bannon if he is crowned with Al-Ahly in the African Super Cup

A Moroccan report revealed a distinguished number for the superstar Badr Bannon, the player of Al-Ahly club, if he was crowned with the African Super title, which will bring his team together with Nahdet Berkane on Friday evening in the Qatari capital, Doha, according to the contract concluded with the Confederation of African Football (CAF), which includes holding the competition for a period of years ending 2021 with the aim of promoting For the World Cup 2022 that will be held next year.

The Moroccan championship website said that Badr Bannon, Al-Ahly's defender, will be the only player in the current generation to have won two African Super Cups if the Red Genie is crowned with the title.

The site added that Badr Bannon previously won the African Super Championship with Moroccan Raja at the expense of Tunisia's Esperance in the match that was held in 2019 in Doha.

Al-Ahly, the African Champions League champion, will face its counterpart, Nahdet Berkane, the Confederation champion, next Friday at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium in Al-Sadd Club, in Doha.

Bannon joined the ranks of Al-Ahly last summer from the Moroccan Raja team, and he succeeded in securing a key place in the formation of the red team since his arrival.

Al-Ahly is facing the African Super Cup, after being crowned the African Champions League last season, at the expense of its traditional rivals Zamalek in the final match with a score of 2-1, which brought the two teams together last November at the "Cairo" stadium.

On the other hand, Borkan Club managed to win the Confederation title by defeating the Pyramids team with a clean goal.
