The Moroccan Ministry of Health announced the registration of 720 new confirmed cases of the Coronavirus; This brings the total number of people infected with the virus to 506,669 cases.


A statement by the Moroccan Ministry of Health stated that the total of the analyzes that took place, after carrying out 8,468 examinations, amounted to 5 million and 669 thousand and 591 since the beginning of the spread of the virus in Morocco on March 2 of last year.


The statement added that 7 new deaths were recorded; Bringing the total number to 8 thousand and 959 deaths, as well as 625 additional recoveries recorded; This brings the total recovery to 492,725 recoveries.


In the context, the Moroccan Ministry of Health announced that the total number of Moroccans who received a vaccine against the emerging corona virus has reached 4 million 684,557 people until today.


A Moroccan health statement stated that 12,231 people had received the vaccine during the past 24 hours, adding that 4 million 193 thousand and 888 people had received the second dose of the vaccine against the virus since the start of the campaign.


It is noteworthy that Morocco received 8.5 million doses of the vaccine against the virus, including 7 million doses of the AstraZenka vaccine manufactured in India, and 1.5 million doses of the Chinese Sinopharm vaccine, and Morocco received the first batch of the Corona virus vaccine according to the Kovax system last week.


On the other hand, Dr. Jamal Forar, a spokesman for the National Committee for Follow-up of the Coronavirus in Algeria, announced the registration of 187 Coronavirus infections and 5 deaths in one day, and the spokesman said - in his daily press conference - that the total number of infections rose to 120,92 cases, while the total deaths increased. To 3,165 deaths.


Forar added that the total number of recovered cases reached 83,636, after 122 cases were cured within one day, explaining that most of the deaths were among the elderly, indicating that 19 injured were in intensive care.


The highest death toll from corona in Algeria was 1,133 cases in one day, and it was recorded on 24 November.

It is noteworthy that most of the injuries were concentrated in the state of Blida, which is 36 kilometers west of Algiers, and a complete quarantine was imposed on them since March 24, 2020 for a month, due to the spread of cases.


The Algerian authorities impose a curfew due to the Corona from 11 pm to 4 am in 9 states, including Algiers.


From Tunisia, the Tunisian Ministry of Health announced that 2,169 new cases of the new Corona virus had been recorded during the past 24 hours; This brings the total number of injured people in the country to 289,230 cases.


The ministry added - in a statement - that 93 new deaths from the coronavirus were recorded; This brings the total deaths to 9 thousand and 918 cases, explaining that 2511 cases of HIV infection have been cured.


The ministry indicated that the total number of injured people who have been taken care of in hospitals since the outbreak of the epidemic has reached 13,553 cases, while the number of patients in intensive care departments has reached 483 cases, in addition to 149 patients on artificial respirators.
