The Libyan Prime Minister receives the Cabinet Office in Tripoli

The Prime Minister of the Libyan National Unity Government, Abdul Hamid Al-Dabaiba, received today, Saturday, the Cabinet Office in the capital, Tripoli.

The Media Office of the Prime Minister said today - in a statement reported by the Libyan Al Wasat Gate - that Dabaiba held a meeting with the directors of departments and offices in the Bureau; To develop the Bureau's work plan and the coordination mechanism with the ministries and government institutions of the National Unity Government.

The Libyan House of Representatives agreed, last Wednesday, to give confidence to the government of national unity headed by Abdel-Hamid al-Dabaiba.

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Agila Saleh, announced that "the members agreed by majority to give confidence to the government," saying that "132 deputies agreed to give confidence to the national unity government, and two members abstained from voting, while 36 others were absent from the session."

Abdul Hamid Dabaiba was chosen, through talks held by the United Nations in Geneva early last month, to head an interim unity government to oversee the preparations for the elections scheduled to take place at the end of this year.
